Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters (CBBBS), celebrating its 85th year anniversary is an entity dedicated to serving youth and today exists for one purpose: to help youth of all beliefs and backgrounds throughout Los Angeles County reach their potential through one-to-one, relationship based mentoring.  Our vision is to create a lasting, positive impact on youth.  The agency depends on donations to help recruit volunteers and reach more children.  Funding is used to conduct background checks on volunteers to ensure child safety, and provide ongoing support for children, families and volunteers to build and sustain long-lasting relationships. Big Brothers Big Sisters is proven to improve children's odds for succeeding in school, behaving nonviolently, avoiding drugs and alcohol, and breaking negative cycles.  Serving the most needy youth in Los Angeles County, including children of prisoners, the agency is one of 400 affiliates throughout the country.  See how we improve the way children grow up in our community, join the mentoring movement.
