Would Your Child Like
a Big Brother or Big Sister?
Referrals for the services of Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters come from many sources: teachers, social
workers, counselors, mothers and even the children themselves. When both a parent or guardian and child agree that
the services of Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters would be beneficial to the child, the parent is encouraged to fill out an application
to request a Big Brother or Big Sister. Once the application is received by Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters, a case manager will call
to set up an appointment with the parent or guardian and child. All information provided to Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters is held
in confidence and is not discussed with anyone outside of the agency without signed consent.
Please remember that we are located in the greater Los Angeles area, and therefore are unable to serve people
located elsewhere. If you are located outside Los Angeles County, you may go to Big Brothers
Big Sisters of America for information on a Big Brothers Big Sisters organization near you.
